What We Do
At Happy Face Family Child Care, we encourage development through play. Our programs are designed to support your child’s growth in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. From sensory stimulation to problem-solving games to storytelling, we use play based activities to stretch the body and mind. Children will participate in hands-on learning through toys, arts & crafts, songs and storytelling. They are also provided with large spaces both indoors and outdoors to learn as well as to play and have fun.
Food Provisions
We provide healthy homemade breakfasts and lunches according to the weekly meal schedule. In addition, your child will also enjoy healthy snacks throughout the day such as fresh fruits and veggies, etc. If your child has any dietary restrictions or other special dietary needs, please keep us informed.
Birthdays & Special Occasions
We love birthdays! What a wonderful occasion! We will bake cupcakes to celebrate. If there is a special occasion where the child will not be in our care, there is no refund for that day. However, if there is a special occasion where the child may be out for several days, such as a family vacation, please contact us and we can negotiate an agreement.
Supplies & Clothing
Parents are responsible for supplying formula, diapers, wipes, and creams or ointments for their child. Each child should also come with 2 extra sets of labeled clothing that we will provide storage for.
Emergency Procedures
We regularly schedule and practice emergency evacuations as required by California Child Care Licensing regulations. If an actual emergency requires evacuation of our day care, we will notify you as soon as the children have relocated to a safe area.
